Pembrokeshire - Haverfordwest

Haverfordwest is the county town of Pembrokeshire, Wales, and serves as the County's principal commercial and administrative centre. Haverfordwest is the most populous urban area in Pembrokeshire, with a population of 13,367 in 2001; though its community boundaries make it the second most populous settlement in the county, with 10,812 people.
Haverfordwest is 6 miles away from the village of Broad Haven, part of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, the United Kingdom's only coastal national park, which attracts thousands of tourists each year.
Haverfordwest is twinned with the German town of Oberkirch.
Haverfordwest serves as the market town for most of the county of Pembrokeshire. It forms an important road network hub between other towns in Pembrokeshire such as Milford Haven, Pembroke Dock, Fishguard and St David's, as a result of its position at the tidal limit of the western Cleddau river. The majority of the town, comprising the old parishes of St. Mary, St. Martin and St. Thomas, lies on the right (west) bank of the river. On the left bank are the suburbs of Prendergast and Cartlett. At this point, a pair of sandstone ridges extending east-west and separated by a deep, narrow valley, are cut through by the western Cleddau.

Little Hilton Farm

Welcome to Little Hilton Farm self-catering holiday farmhouse, situated on a hillside overlooking St Brides Bay in Pembrokeshire, West Wales. Close to the National Coastal Path, St Davids, Solva, Newgale, and Broad Haven. All you need for that perfect Pembrokeshire holiday!

Built some time between 1890 and 1910 by Johnís grand-father, who was working at that time for Colonel Harries, owner of the nearby Hilton Estate. The farm was part of a large estate as were so many farms in the area.

The character of Little Hilton remains throughout the house, with the original beams of Pembrokeshire oak, and pine complimenting the authentic quarry-stone floors. The double bedrooms retain the original fireplaces as well as many unusual features.

The views from the farmhouse are truly spectacular in every direction. To the west are coastal views of Newgale Beach, Nolton Haven, and Broad Haven. Looking north the view stretches from Roch Castle across Brawdy to the St David's headland in the distance.

Easterly the view incorporates the Plumstone range of hills, the craggy outcrop of Treffgarne Rock, and further beyond that the Presceli Mountains.
