Cornwall - Penzance

Penzance is a town, civil parish and port in Cornwall, in England United Kingdom. It is well known for being the most westerly major town in Cornwall and is approximately 75 miles (121 km) west of Plymouth and 300 miles (480 km) west-southwest of London. Situated in the shelter of Mount's Bay, the town faces south-east onto the English Channel, is bordered to the west by the fishing port of Newlyn, to the north by the civil parish of Madron and to the east by the civil parish of Ludgvan.
Granted various royal charters from 1512 onwards and incorporated in 1614, it has a population of 21,168.

By road, we are just 3.5 miles from Penzance and only 8 miles to St Ives. So near, so convenient.

Cardinney Caravan and Camping Park is a quiet family-run site. We are situated in scenic unspoilt countryside, 5 miles west of Penzance and 5 miles east of Lands End, set back off the main A30 trunk road, and accessed via a private drive. As keen caravanners of many years ourselves, our aim is to make your stay at Cardinnney as enjoyable as possible. We have been inspected and are members of the QualityinCornwall scheme, and have been selected for inclusion in the Alan Rogers guides

We are ideally situated on level ground in a quiet road just off the promenade. It's a short walk to the main shopping centre, public parks and gardens, cinema, museums and art galleries. It is also very convenient for the main line rail station, coach station, harbour and heliport for trips to the exotic Isles of Scilly.

We have 6 rooms arranged over the first, second and third floor. All of the rooms are stylishly furnished and have en suite facilities. They are centrally heated and equipped with wash basins, shaver points, hairdryers, tea and coffee making facilities, colour televisions and alarm clocks.

Enjoy our delicious freshly cooked breakfasts. We use local produce where possible and cater for a variety of special diets (e.g. vegan, coeliac). Breakfast options include traditional English breakfast, vegetarian breakfast, continental breakfast and fresh fruit platter.

We offer a selection of attractive one, two, and three bedroom self catering holiday cottages, each situated in the picturesque conservation village of Mousehole, Cornwall.

Each cottage is built of granite and is between 120 and 240 years old, very well equipped, tastefully decorated and retains features such as original fireplaces, exposed beams, granite walls etc. and is available throughout the year for summer or winter holidays or short breaks.

Each cottage has a fitted kitchen with electric cooker, refrigerator, microwave oven, toaster, iron/ironing board, cafeteria etc. a comprehensive range of equipment and utensils, crockery, and cutlery. All lounges have a comfortable seating, Digital TV, DVD and CD player.

Welcome to Maravel. Chance to relax in our country home and gardens approximately 1mile from the Cornish coast. Originally built in 1750, Maravel has been extended over the years, but still retains it's cottagy charm. From the magnolia and bluebells of the Spring, to the white clouds of Japanese anemones and pink apples in August, the gardens are always changing.

We have two guest rooms. The en-suite room is spacious and overlooks the garden. It has a double and a single bed both with white crisp bedding. There is a TV, tea & coffee making facilities, access to WI FI, and a shower room with fluffy towels.

From £19.50, Codna Coath Cottage is in the little hamlet of Sellan, in the parish of Sancreed and lies some three miles west of Penzance. Guests are assured of a very warm welcome and a comfortable stay.

One double bedroom (additional folding bed available) this room also has h & c and a shaver-point.
One single bedroom.
Both rooms have tea/coffee making facilities and radios. Although not ensuite, the guest’s bathroom/shower/toilet adjoins the double bedroom and as there is only an additional single bedroom it is unusual for guests to share except with members of their own family.
A pot of tea or coffee with light refreshments is always offered to guests to welcome their arrival. I cater for special dietary requirements, specifically Coeliac.
There is a lounge area in the breakfast room where guests are most welcome to relax during the evenings, complete with a colour T.V.

There is a no smoking policy throughout the cottage.

Codna Coath Cottage is situated on a hill in the heart of the countryside, and leisurely walks can be enjoyed.

A quiet sheltered family run site ideally located for exploring the countryside and coast of West Cornwall.
Situated in a pretty valley, this small quiet park is well sheltered by mature hedges and trees and is bordered on one side by a small stream.
There are 17 electric hook up pitches, 3 static caravans and a large grassed area for small tents.
A short walk from the park is the village of Heamoor with its general shop, fish n chips, bakers, pub and regular bus service. The centre of Penzance is approximately a 25 minute walk away where you can walk along the promenade (this is the only Cornish Resort to have one), visit one of the three museums The Egyptian House or the Morab Gardens or just simply shop. There are also regular helicopter and sea links from Penzance to the beautiful Isles of Scilly.
There are many routed walks along the coastal footpath.
We have two large grassed areas for tents.

The Carlton is a small, private guest house situated on Penzance promenade facing Mounts Bay and St Michael's Mount. The Carlton has been family run for four centuries.

Within easy walking distance of a variety of independent shops and restaurants, The Carlton's location is ideal for any one wanting to experience the vast number of attractions that Penzance has to offer. 

Penzance has the only promenade in Cornwall that runs from Penzance Harbour to Newlyn.  The wonderful vista of Mounts Bay from the promenade is a classic attraction for the holiday maker, with a view past Marazion to the Goonhilly Satellite Earth Station and to the Lizard.

There is also a Helicopter service to the Scillies from Penzance Heliport and Skybus from Lands End Airport.
