Carmarthenshire - Llandysul
Llandysul is a small town and community in the county of
Ceredigion, Wales. As a community it consists of the villages of
Capel Dewi, Horeb, Pont Sian, Pren-gwyn, Tregroes, Rhydowen and the
village of Llandysul itself. As of the 2001 Census the community had
a population of 2902. Llandysul lies in the valley of the River
Teifi and is visited for its fishing and canoeing.
Llandysul is best known
as the home of Gwasg Gomer, one of the most prominent publishers of
Welsh-interest and Welsh language books in Wales. The town is
twinned with Plogonnec (Plogoneg) in Brittany, France.

Clyn Glas is an old Welsh farmhouse which has been developed over
the last two centuries. In the past it connected to the local
woollen industry and it is believed that weaving was carried out on
property is situated in a spectacular position overlooking the
valley where the Hiraeth stream runs on its journey to join the
River Teifi. (A well renowned Salmon and Sea trout or Sewin river).
name ‘Clyn Glas’ is derived from an old Welsh word ‘clyne’ and means
holiday cottages at Clyn Glas have been adapted and extended from an
old agricultural building which probably originally served as a
cowshed. The holiday cottages have recently been refurbished to a
very high standard. Both Upper Cottage and Lower Cottage have their
own gardens and garden furniture is supplied. There are glorious
views over the valley and the birds which visit are many and varied.
Large birds of prey (buzzards and red kites) can be seen circling
area surrounding the holiday cottages is stunning and walks can be
taken from the door. The Blue Flag sandy beaches of Cardigan Bay are
only 20 minutes away and within the area are many things to see and
do for people of all ages.

farm in lovely west Wales.

ancient and historic castles or shopping in the delightful small
market towns of the area, return to the cottage for a cup of tea in
front of a roaring log fire or a glass of wine outside watching the

Rock Mill Apartment is a newly converted weaver's loft in the
grounds of Rock Mill. We offer Self Catering Accommodation in the
Cottage. Which sleeps up to 4 people.
This newly converted weaver's loft is in the grounds of one of the
only working water powered Woollen Mills in Wales, a Grade II listed
Well furnished and equipped, the apartment has views from the lounge
over woodland and fields down to the River Clettwr which powers the
Entrance on to a large decked seating area. Open plan
lounge/dining/kitchen, feature wall pebbled fire, digital freeview
tv and dvd player, gas hob, electric oven, fridge and microwave.
